So I agreed to fix up and paint this army at least 12 months ago now, and it's been an interesting experience. I would have to say that commission work is not something I could do very often (and certainly not to a time schedule).
I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, they still look like a uniform force despite my changing from citadel foundation paints to using an airbrush midway through the project. I didn't get to finishing the bases, but all I planned to do was glue some sand (something the owner can do if he decides they need to be based).
Now with these finally out of the way I can look at working on my own armies, and maybe actually get back into the games.
